I think that many Sky News viewers definitely do not have or do not use their critical thinking faculties. For example I would look up the Australian Education Curriculum before making a comment like yours.

@BigRedR-o7h I am a great supporter of Australian education. Most teachers do a wonderful job and I think are well paid for it. Especially compared to US teachers. But they are seriously overworked through increasing administrative and other needless paper work.

@isLife-nn5yl Why don't compare education outcomes in the US, based on red and blue states? Then you might have a better understanding.

@isLife-nn5yl How can you possibly compare the results between private schools and public schools? Private schools have far greater resources than public schools. Public schools in wealthy areas have more resources than schools in poor areas. It is not a level playing field. What is the teacher/student ratio for home schooled students, compared to public schools? 1-1, maybe 1-4 as opposed to 1-25 to 1-32. It is not a level playing field. What are baby sitters paid? Maybe teachers should be paid the same rate? But per student they teach per hour.
