@GF-qb3uo You are totally missing the point. Some people have a greater opportunity to achieve their potential, than others. It normally revolves around income of the parents.

Right wing media tends to portray issues as a dichotomy ie yes/no, black/white, right/wrong . Society and life is far more complex, most things are on a spectrum. Take for example their are two job applicants for a single position. One is slightly more qualified and meritocracy would demand that person was hired. But if you did a deeper dive and found that one went to fell funded and rich schools and the other the other had the opposite experience, who would you choose for the job and why?

@donotcomply665 See, that is the problem. It is far more likely that the person from the less privileged position had to work much harder because they had less resources. There for they have already demonstrated a greater resilience and ability to overcome disadvantages than a person who had it far much easier.
