Yes there is a moral responsibility for the all governments to ensure that everybody and corporations pay their fair share within their own country. With regard to international obligations do not believe Trump's claims about NATO membership fees. There is no such thing. Each country has agreed to the aspirational goal of spending 2% of their GDP on defence. Some countries have achieved this goal, others have not. But it is an aspirational goal not a mandate. Trump was flat out lying like a lizard drinking. (Australian expression, but you get my drift). I am tax payer of nearly 50 years and I am so proud of my Australian governments (both left and right) for assisting countries that need support with my tax dollars. I would love to hear your thoughts.

  3. Don't forget that the 45th best president took 1000's of troops out of Afghanistan and then had 1000's of terrorist's released from jail so they could go to back to fight. What do you think was going to happen?

  9.  @FunnyBunny-pd5xx  Of the 30 NATO countries prior to 2024 11 countries have met the 2% goal. 9 are between 1.7-1.9%. Canada is at 1.4%. Should Canadians be terrified of Putin if Trump gets into power? But I more interested in your response to as to whether rich countries should be helping out poor countries?

  10.  @FunnyBunny-pd5xx  You are missing the point. If you did real studies you would know that the European countries stole much of the African resources and sent many into the slavery. They then imposed artificial boundaries that had nothing to with African ethnic groups. An example being that at ethnic group could be divided and then ruled over by two different groups. So in the end you have divided artificial countries divested of much of their resources. Do you think that could be a recipe for disaster? (I am copying this in case I don't get a reply)
