Erathen I think you need to get away from Fox News so you can discover what is really happening in the US. Here are some items I bet Fox has failed to mention. Trump still importing goods from China. Trump used his Presidency to try to get the British Open moved to one of his golf courses. More people are dying from Trump's inaction on the pandemic than from crime in all the cities put together. There is no evidence yet that the protests have lead to a spike in Covid cases. That Trump is actually boasting he passed a dementia test. But surely you do remember Fox and Hannity ridiculing Obama for all his golf and executive orders, yet ignoring that Trump has done far more of each, attacking Obama for his Ebola response (4 deaths).

@kor8267 Clinton: 4 deaths on her watch. Fox News and Republicans went ballistic. Umpteen senate investigations. (all which cleared her) Obama: 2 deaths from Ebola on his watch. Fox News ridiculed his efforts. Trump: 138 000+ dead on his watch. Fox News, “look over there Biden made a gaff.”

@robertallred4515 Assuming you are correct, it would only be because the democratic states have far larger populations. As a rule of thumb Democratic states have tried to protect their citizens, while Republican states with a few notable exceptions have just allowed their citizens to die.i.e following Trump's lead.

@robertallred4515 Definitely mistakes were made, but when it became apparent that putting covid patients in nursing homes was a disaster the policy was changed. Remember these states were learning as they went. The following states had the benefit of the lessons already learnt.
