Provide evidence for your claim about Marxism in schools.

I guess you are supporting the drive to increase the minimum wage.

@coryCuc School choice as proposed by DeVos is aimed at helping rich parents and private schools to the detriment of poor people and poor schools. It entails every student getting a 'voucher' which parents can use against school fees. Thus for parents who send their child to a private school it is nothing more than a tax deduction. For parents that couldn't afford to send their child to a private school, but now can, it is also a tax deduction, but the money comes at a loss for the government schools. Pretty much the same thing occurs when parents can now move from poor government schools to richer government schools. This time it is a loss of money and therefore resources for the poorer schools. The whole idea of the system is a reverse Robin Hood, taking from the poor and giving to the rich. If you really wanted to fix the education system then you would fund it on a needs basis. Those schools that needed extra funding would get it and the schools that don't need the extra funding wouldn't . You could call it socialism or you could call it trying to give every student across the country a more even chance of success. Modern socialism as experienced in capitalistic societies such as Western Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and I am sure a host of other countries, is not the scary Marxist/Communist plot as portrayed by those on the far right.

Michael Madden Evidence please?

Michael Madden So you are admitting that the capitalistic debt turns people towards socialism. You are beginning to understand the problem.
2
Michael Madden Government loans where the government makes a profit is not socialism. It is the government carrying out capitalist activities.

If you are suffering try to remember who is president.

@darkwingduck7212 Nothing gets by you.

How do you figure that?

@coryCuc If you got rid of federal funding for schools then it will adversely affect the students in the poor states. i.e the states that take more money from the Federal government than they put in. Those students through no fault of their own or their parents will go to schools that will receive less funding. Immediately you increase the education divide. Under the present and Devos' proposed system there will always be crappy schools and the innocent victims are the kids. They might not have the facilities to change schools. They are paying for the perceived failures of their parents, who also might might have suffered under the same system as did their parents. The present system of funding schools based on property values will always keep and perhaps increase the educational divide. As I am not American I am unaware of those lobby groups you speak of. Putting the shoe on the other foot, given the present situation and that the good schools can 't accept all students who want to move, what is your solution to trying to ensure that all students get an equal opportunity?

Useless Black I some how suspect you are a total racist without the guts to use your real name. I bet you support Trump.
1
Useless Black Not addressing my claims then?
1
Useless Black Still no comment to my claim. I prefer racists who proclaim it loudly. Despite their abhorrent beliefs, they are at least honest.
1
Useless Black So you are a racist, but will only admit it when backed into a corner. I guess you don't really care about education reform, because the present system makes if harder for minorities to advance their economic position.

@grantverbitskey9337 What radical changes?

@clerpington_the_fifth Sorry I tried. But it just too much of ad hominem attacks on people she disagrees with. She couldn't defend Trump caging kids, praising neo nazis or systemic racism in America, so she attacked the messengers. If she was really interested in improving education out comes, she would be demanding higher wages, so more qualified teachers could be hired, calling for more school resources, pointing out ways schools can open more safely. No she just wanted to make vitriolic false claims.
