  2.  @aantony2001  In England, unlike Australia (and we have had record changes of PM's from both sides in the last decade), it is not just the MP's that vote but all members of the Conservative Party (80,000?) that vote for the PM. Interesting that a domestic violence dispute by Boris did not dissaude them.

  3. The Westminster system of government does not allow people to vote directly for the Prime Minister. People vote for their representative, the party that gets the majority of representatives choose the Prime Minister. This is usually the leader of the party at the time of the election, but they can always choose who ever they want and make changes.
