  1. Concentration on millimeter wave transmission does not fully comprise the entire 5G use. Mid band use is like more dominate and used extensively in the US and lower density markets and even GPRS frequencies and some out of the UHF broadcast bands. The key in 5G is the beam forming and the way transmissions are managed per simultaneous user which is where efficiencies are gained even in these lower bandwidths. Millimeter wave has limitations and will be used in some 5G situations, but not all.

  7. What you are missing the use of current frequencies and extension of new lower frequency availability. This is mostly a US or North American deployment where millimeter wave is overshadowed extensive lower frequency utilization. Millimeter wave at much lower power will become an adjunct to WiFi in home and outside only in certain high density markets.
