  1. We(I) don’t give a 💩 about Russia. Our investment banker was pulled out 2 1/2 years ago because rule of law at all was gone. Putin killed Russia in 2014 and before. Russia’s economic position is much worse for 2 reasons: 1. Russian oil and gas are being sold off black market at higher rate than you think. Not all than money is going to Putin. Maybe 1/2. 2. China’s real debt to GDP is well over a 1000%. It’s real GDP actually less than $5.5 Trillion not $18T reported. CCP closer to collapse. Blackstone and BlackRock are pumping China because of multi Trillion exposure. Already large defaults started 4 years ago at an increasingly pace. We are on the cusp of multiple dictators left with empty cupboards. The dictator Party is over.

  2. Your reliance on certain academics, while enlightening in some ways, lacks the substance of detail very often. Historians create a history...and so on. The inevitable CCP collapse and increasing kleptocracy is cutting deeper into the military and daily bread. This is exactly the same thing Xi Jinping with a turn to SORs or the equivalents. Russia is already on the rocks being broken up with each wave.

  3. My personal assistant is Ukrainian and he gets so much incorrect about Russia and Ukraine at the operational level. I get updates from Ukrainians in theater and Russians throughout the day. We’re making money on “dark trades” those in the academic and media circles don’t get or miss. Personal connections are essential to knowing the real operational success and failure at a functional granular level. There is little strategy 😊
