@TheAmericanDreamLives He only mentioned Murdoch, not the oligarchies in media outlets in US, EU and Briton. That is my point as an absolute reasonable freedom of speech supporter I suggest we must realize there are digital tools to expose and challenge bias, even our own. Oligarchies in media can lead to a press more like the CCP and RT over time. That is my point. In the open source programming world technology is emerging that will challenge the oligarchies in media. I listen and digest discussion from many places. Challenging your own views and understanding is how you grow as a civil society and just society.

NYT is owned by a Mexican Oligarch as is WaPo US oligarch Bezos. Your bias and lack of objectivity is showing. Reality, is oligarchy is entrenched in much of traditional media in USA. Only in non traditional media is there more freedom.

@TheAmericanDreamLives no, just another example from another bias. This demonstrates validity of the claim. A unbalanced perspective gives a false impression of the total issue from only one perspective. Simply being fully critical of media oligarchy landscape and many bias positions exposed how bad it really is.
