@Lei’s Real Talk Great presentation. I would suggest CCP policy is also harming rare earth income for China. China’s rare earth reserves are NOT in China as extensively or in useable forms as CCP alleges some suggest. Environment manufacturing issues and China’s abusive mining and processing is destroying China’s farmland, water and more. CCP’s indifference to impact on its population is unwisely increasing health costs including reduced human reproduction further limiting Chinas human potential. The funding of environmental groups by Russia and CCP is likely in US and elsewhere. Some manufacturing and processing based on rare earth in US has been locked by foolish policy. as “environment concerns” has been weaponized licking up US and other assets. These groups opposing US mining and processing and spreading chaos are often funded by CCP and Russia. This is just like BLM and Liberation Road with CCP likely ties. California and Alaska besides Texas have apparently more rare earths as we are learning. New electric motor tech is now replacing some rare earths in new high efficiency Tesla electric motors. Other designs reducing dependence of rare earths are emerging and part of the solution.
