  1. Constitutionally the US can declare war against hybrid war entities and take kinetic actions against hackers, anchor draggers, drug cartels and more. At the founding of the US we faced the Barbary Pirates and thus have the capability to act outside judicial actions and take kinetic action against the hacker in Moscow, or Beijing. We don’t have to declare against “RF” though we could against FSB etc.

  2. It does show Russia weak on multiple fronts and I’m in agreement. The RACISM of Russia and Putin is as bad as Hitler’s, in my opinion and the ideology Putin uses to justify himself. Xi Jinping, is much the same or worse in his racist views and promoted in China. We are globally fighting the rise not of “populism” per se in the sense presented by some, but racist ideology. Russia and China are fomenting calling EU and US “racist” when we’ve dealt, in many ways the past issues. I’m suggesting that Putin folded on grain and other ways of dealing with Ukraine because his propaganda is collapsing along with CCPs. He has largely failed to stoke racial hatred in the Western World, though we are challenged by migration issues. Only small flash points do we see racism except in the totalitarians.

  3. Putin big failure: One point to consider is that Gazprom is running out of operating cash-down to days left. Cash up front for some deliveries is stained and no sustainable insurance for shipping gas.

  6. Largely, I agree with many of your thoughts. However, other trends in economic trade issues are emerging. I think all lil’ Putsie has done has turned Russia into a “totally collapsed fractured failed state.” The margins of the Russian Federation are beginning to fray. Ukraine drone attacks will only increase and be more effective inside Russia causing economic paralysis by amplifying sanctions. China is collapsing and supply of cellulose-nitrate is now cut off from shipment from China chemical impacting Russian production of bombs and bullets slowing it to a tiny fraction. With China’s own economic pressure there is growing Chinese people incursion into Siberia and other areas further destabilizing Russia and China is happening now too. This is seen already in various regions. Dictator foolishness syndrome has infected Putin and Xi Jinping. Both countries are seriously destabilized on the margins through marginalized ethnic populations. The growing descent in both countries will create fracturing that could advance Western Democratic Ideology if there is wise politcal and military considerations and moves in the west.

  9. You, as a Dane, miss many details about Trump. He wants to CRUSH Putin quickly. He has no expectations that Europe will be able add significantly to complete destruction of troublesome Putin and Xi Jinping. The stage are already set. The Korean War is not the model Trump desires. He knows nuclear arsenal of Russia is in shambles as is China’s. Yes, he smiles, talks nice and pats Putin and Xi on back while he prepares for the end. These are not negotiations for Trump, but opportunity for capitulation to Trump for both China and Russia. Watch and learn!

  12. The reality is there is a relationship going back to the 1950s with the US and Greenland. Previously, a deal was nearly reached with Trump contrary to the EU rhetoric.

  14. Benefiting Ukraine via the back door. You are not seeing big picture on Greenland and existing relationship/base. Both Greenland and Canada are part of the NORAD network. The US Canada relationship is in NORAD was quite active in defense against nuclear attack. Trump wants to pull together defense against Russian and northern passage commerce. This benefits Europe in both cases. He may have been bombastic in presentation, but only to cover up true intentions to undercut Russia and China.

  17. It seems that Iran will come under attack from Israel and Saudis Arabia if they supply arms to Russia. With internal strife and external threats Iran is weakened as a supplier. The threat of attacks on Russia aircraft and internal to Russia launch areas bring the war inside Russia. It won’t take much.
