It’s interesting how much “Russian art and literature” is from Ukraine and renamed.

Great analysis and understanding of communism, Russian World and practical knowledge.

I’m glad you did this segment, Mark. I’m disgusted at those who don’t understand Russian propaganda or that the progressive left and (MAGA) right are buying the same lies slightly repackaged. MAGA supporting Russia are essentially supporting Putin’s Communist/Imperialist designs on the world which is nonsense.

This is interesting concept, and you’re certainly right. This is the right moral choice.

The industrial use of gold defines its only substantial value today. My own work is on material science used in new semiconductors etc that is more electrically useful and cheaper. Very recently single atom layer gold was created which uses very little and can be structured with other elements, but in very small amounts compared to today’s industrial use. I can go on about how more efficient use of materials and technologically advancing depends on exactly what is being discussed here. Russia has little of this talent because Putin has chased away talent from Russia.

I’m glad you addressed “good deflation” we are introducing new semiconductor technology that likely will reduce COGS by 35% or better with greatly improved performance.

I love your analysis and comparison of Russian City and Boston. This was a great and entertaining look into human potential/opportunity.
2
I certainly agree with you. I’ve followed the empire of Russia since I was a kid. I’m nearly 71 and working on a super computer project as chief engineer-only in America! Or only in the free world should I say…

EXCELLENT! What this will introduce is concealed corruption beyond the current kleptocracy of thug Putin. Couple centralization with centralized corruption all the smart people will continue to escape. Right on the target. U of Chicago document study shows China’s economy really a Ponzi scheme with real debt to GDP of 400%. GREAT INSIGHT!

SMRs are not necessarily the best cost option. In US and Europe regular modern reactors are better ROI and better consumer price per KWH. Older reactors we thought would only last 30-60 years may be good with refurb up to 100 years. That makes it very cheap power, safe and 92-94% efficient.

Let’s just call lil’ Putsie GREASE MONKEY! Soon Russia will be just a grease spot.

Very unlikely that Argentina joins because it’s a pointless organization of totalitarians or wannabe totalitarians.

Quality of Chinese education is very poor. If you talk to many Chinese it is not in China where the best receive the best education in science and math, but the west. I know because these are people I hire. Very anticommunist where a large part of the education now is “Xi Jinping Thought.” This is useless Marxist ramblings of incoherence even at graduate level and in economics it is mandatory. China is collapsing from within and the work isn’t there as people are beginning to eat anything in some places like in the cultural revolution. Growing starvation in rural China is beginning. Quality of Chinese products is decliningas factory gate prices and profits are less than 1% for most manufacturers. The data when fully analyzed is not real as University of Chicago and other academics have show with likely GDP never higher than $9.2Trillion and now less than $5.8T. That’s the real data.

@johnm7267 Russian Ed is 💩 and has been since 1917. Public Fool system is just that, but Christian Schools or home education is the best in US.

Zeihan really is very narrow in his views. Mark, I agree with you much more and hope we have a chance to chat in person when I’m in Eastern Europe, Florida or somewhere else. My personal aid is from Ukraine, she moved to US 33 years ago and is a US citizen.

Don’t be an idiot! Stolen “great art from Ukraine and elsewhere claimed as Russian” look it up yourself. I don’t waste my time with 🤡s

SMRs are good options for under developed countries without developed grids and distribution, remote areas and specialty applications. No Trump is not warming to Putin. The Greenland and Canadian plan was to build trade and threaten via new NORAD vigor with little cost. This is Reaganesque. It further bankrupts Russia.
