The Chinese GDP was downgraded to $11.2 and massive floods throughout a lot of the manufacturing areas of China are concerning, massive grain buys from US(largest ever) and from other countries from China indicate much of the farmland was inundated with water and blight in other areas. I’m concerned for friends in China as I get reports and video they’ve sent. It’s like the entire country is under siege!

  21. I’m more inclined to build nuclear interstellar/planetary nuclear transport to go to Mars which could be built with moon base and then we can move between earth and mars more efficiently and safely. The inclination tilt of mars can vacillate wildly over many years.

Jixuan & Sebastian a new report out of Stanford Research affiliate says China shifting focus to State Owned Enterprises that are lagging behind innovation and dragging economy down making hard to raise capital. Not a new problem, but an ongoing planner CCP economy issue. China’s current accounts $50 Trillion deficit and on $2T assets. A significant number of regional banks in China have failed w/SOEs dragging them down.

  30. Jixuan & Sebastian I have friends who lived in China for well over a decade, but recently left taking young families with them. My lady is Chinese and was a professor at Peking University in microelectronics engineering forced to reverse engineer products. She was tortured at one point and finally able to leave with her daughter after two years in prison. China builds things fast, but without same environmental and other constraints. Western Capital flows largely built China, but the ineffective economic controls of the CCP are destroying a lot of good things in China. I wish it were not so, but the people need consistent rule of law, not whims of CCP.

Tesla is more popular than Chinese autos inside China as the biggest automaker has an estimated 100,000 unsold cars, trucks and vans!
