  1. What you are forgetting that in WW2 supplies poured in from Allies to USSR. Russia doesn’t have that now. It just defaulted on a major Chinese loan as well as others. It was mostly new equipment and Russia was in a different place. Now Ukraine enjoys the allied support of weapons and tactical intelligence. SO...unlike WW2 Ukraine is the downtrodden with drive and fire in the belly.

  2. Not fully as gas wells are failing and take years to develop new ones. Putin’s decision on gas is destroying the gas well that are irrecoverable. Oil production and refining starting to show first signs. Military parts unavailable for repair and manufacture.
