  8. Ukraine didn't start this war, so Ukraine wasn't trying to win anything. Russia started this war trying to defeat Ukraine, and Russia failed. Russia lost its image of "superpower". Russia is a strategic loser begging North Korea for weapons in order to loot the next Ukrainian village.

  9.  @rodeocowboy  I was trying to explain to Ivan that winning means different things to each side. Read Budapest Memorandum, you will find America there. And as far as US taxes, it will be much cheaper to put a lid on Russian Reich in Ukraine, than to let it spread to other countries and send American troops to fight in Europe again.

  10.  @rodeocowboy  You first said America was nowhere mentioned as having any part in this. When proven wrong, you whine that America keeps its word and helps Ukraine. America had nothing to do with appeasement of Hitler but it led to WW2 and America got involved anyway, and appeasement of Putin has failed the same way so far... As far as issues with NATO members, it is a different topic, I agree with the 2% of GDP requirement.
