  4.  @dimtso6107  Obviously, Russian and Ukrainian names have different pronunciation, spelling, and transliteration. Ukrainian capital has its proper Ukrainian name (Київ) and correct transliteration (Kyiv). Ukrainian letter ї is never transliterated as 'e'.

But only Russian imperialists are expressing their "butt hurt feelings" by complaining about the correct transliteration of Kиïв. All official names in USSR were Russian, that's why we never saw Ukrainian version Kyiv. But USSR collapsed over 30 years ago.
