The timeline of the battle is already documented, it happened on the 1st day of Russian 2022 offensive (February 24). The Russian 40 mile convoy on Kyiv arrived the next day to pick up the remains of obliterated Russian Spetsnaz, but it was too late (runway damaged), so Russian planned glorious blitzkrieg turned into a fiasco.

In 2021, RT chief Simonyan said "In a hot war, we'll defeat Ukraine in 2 days", and on February 24, 2022, Russian TV host Skabeeva announced that Kyiv will fall in 2 days. She didn't know that Russian Spetsnaz would be obliterated in the Battle for Antonov airport, and Russian entire blitzkrieg would turn into a fiasco.

@ghostfish359 Try harder, Ivan, but anyone can lookup Russo-Ukrainian war, and see that Russia cowardly started this war on February 27, 2014 by sending Russian forces dressed up as "little green men" to capture the Crimean Parliament. 2022 was only the largest Russian offensive in the Russo-Ukrainian war, a Russian blitzkrieg that turned into a fiasco.

@Writeous0ne They announced 1 round in 2022, and after the backlash stopped the announcements, but not mobilization. They simply get a phone message when they are selected, and their accounts/licenses get blocked if they don't show up... many enlist for the huge sign up bonuses, nobody really volunteers.

Putin already explained this "fault on both sides" in the Carlson interview. When Carlson asked Putin about Russian invasion of Ukraine, Putin explained how Nazi Germany was "provoked" to invade Poland, same story.
