The invasion was already built on lies about denazification, demilitarization, protection of ethnic minorities in Ukraine. Margarita Simonian: "No one can understand the goals of war, because they change depending on the circumstances." So one keeps lying in hopes of divine assistance or extraordinary circumstances. The aim is to keep the Putin system upright because all participants are dependent on it. Putin hands out Russia's wealth to his ass kissers, and everyone wants to be a part of it.
