The invasion was already built on lies about denazification, demilitarization, protection of ethnic minorities in Ukraine. Margarita Simonian: "No one can understand the goals of war, because they change depending on the circumstances." So one keeps lying in hopes of divine assistance or extraordinary circumstances.
