Can we pay 6% less tax then please? The public sector are entitled narcissists, and the government weak, corrupt and venal.

@timg1246 Crikey don't be so literal! The facts remain the public sector does very well these days, better the private sector if you figure in pensions, job security etc. Guessing you're all for high taxes, inflation, with no improvement in service?

@garymitchell5899 How do you know I don't? Maybe as a tax payer I care about the service and don't want to see it spaffed up the wall? Are you happy fpr high taxes being spent on massive public sector salaries then?

@garymitchell5899 there is no god given right that salaries should match inflation. Should they come down when inflation does then? Also you don't get a choice with the public sector, by paying more we end up paying more in tax or in inflation ... don't think you're as clever as you say you are fiscally

@timg1246 Don't project your own misunderstandings. Not sure how old you are, but I'm not throwing around 'buzz words'. Its been known for some time (decades) that the public Sector is getting larger, better paid than the private sector, with worse service. A large state means high tax and rubbish productivity ... communism does not work

@garymitchell5899 Don't kid yourself! You aren't addressing the question, who pays for public services? Hint its not free, nor is it self-financing. You asked me if I worked in the public sector: do you, or are you unemployed btw (guessing you don't pay much in taxes)?
