Because its not the governments fault. The NHS workers don't care about patients, only for more money. We have to pay remember, so guessing you're happy with higher taxes, and your money just finding salaries not service improvements?

@Walking_Wild 0 In a proper free market, competive wages would indeed lead to improvements. It doesn't work in socialist system. Raising taxes and pouring money into overpaid public sector salaries does not improve the economy, quite the opposite.

@Walking_Wild I agree the "capitalism" in the UK is more like "global corporatism". I'm for a mixed model e.g Utilities and national infrastructure, happy to be public, as you say, but there is no reason for the NHS to be. Other countries have better health systems that aren't a socialist model like the one we have, we should follow their example. Not sure why people have this compulsion to defend the venal, corrupt, woke and failing mess that is the NHS ... its like a secular religon
