@ONeill01 @Ó Néill 1). No, but 'others' in this context are not animals, 2). Councils, student unioms, banning meat products, 3). Not sure I know what you mean, but you try to shame meat eaters, 4). You're absolutists. Carnism isn't a thing. Ominivores are the natural order, veganism is socially engineered and is only afforfable in indulgent, rich 1st world countries

@ONeill01 @Ó Néill 1). You're the one assigning morality. I see it as a natural human function, that easily provides the right proteins and helped mankind evolve its intelligence (nb. All alpha species are meat eaters btw). No need to think anything more about i? Should dolphins become vegans? 2). No, not done through votes! A real democracy would allow people to choose, a vegan and a normal meal. Do you see why I said coerce? You are forcing people to follow to your ideology. 3). Not sure I get this question, sorry! 4). Its only an injustice if you equate human life with animal, see point one

@ONeill01 killing a human is murder, eating an animal is not. Aninal life is not equal to human life unless you anthropromorphise to justify your moralism. You can be a Vegan is the current society, but I couldn't eat eat in your prefered reality. Its coercion / authoritism based on your ideolgy ... own it: to be Vegan is to be totalitarian as you've admitted. Your argument seems to come from giving animals some divine status or to equate them to being human? As I said a form of religiosity to which all must adhere.

@ONeill01 1). Laws can be moral or immoral 2). We should treat animals well, and we can eat them 3). I do eat Vegan and a normal diet. You are the guys pouring bkood in resturants etc to try and shame. Not aware of any vegan resturants being attacked for ideological causes 4). Its simple. I don't try and stop yoi for eating just plants, bit yoi are trying to stop me from eating meat (based purely on an kdeological conviction). If you can't see the totalitarian nature of that then I don't know what more to say. 5). Again I repeat, your arguments are based on animals having right to life, equivalent to humans. We should not confuse or equate rights between species thats just nuts.

@ONeill01 1). Its not a legal or moral issue to eat meat, its a natural, useful biological function - you're the one saying its amoral without saying why! 2). Yes its wrong, cannibalism leads to all sorts of disease and social (in species) issues - which is why we've mostly evolved to have such a negative reaction to it 3). What's stopping me is: I like meat and can maintain a healthy and balance diet without fuss (additional supplements) - unlike a vegan diet 4). Canibalism is not the same as eating another species 5). 'Expolitation' is a natural function in almost any sphere, its not a negative thing to 'exploit' food stuffs!
