  1. Awful story, and the perps are evil. But there does seem to be a lot of coverage of this particular story - is it beause its a 'safe' topic for thr media i.e. the perps are white (and clearly evil), and / or that victim was a transvestite (i.e. some dog whistling / virtue signalling going on here)?
