Hyundai and Kia Motors will not be able to surpass Toyota's powertrain and manufacturing prowess anytime soon. The engineering quality of Toyota engines alone is worth a purchase over a Hyundai. Hyundai and Kia are doing better in some interiors. The Kia K900 and Equus, for example, surpass the last Lexus LS but don't quite reach the current one.

@Jkp564 Less NVH is not correlated with better interior quality. I can tell you the top spec LS interior blows the top spec K900 interior out of the water. The top spec K900 may slightly edge out a base LS interior. And, why do you think they have less depreciation? Hyundai/Kia engines are fine and last very long under the best circumstances. Direct-injection-only presents a long term issue with them and is one of many that reduces longevity compared to a Toyota engine. I'm not even mentioning Lexus engines, which use the best engine manufacturing technology in the industry to prevent minor defects.

@Jkp564 And, once again, a fully optioned LS has a better interior quality than a fully optioned K900. I'm not saying the K900 has a bad interior. It's great. I have analyzed both. Yes, it is an objective truth in the automotive industry that Toyota has the best powertrain and manufacturing quality (tightest tolerances, best standards, best manufacturing tech, etc.). Argue all you want. Won't change the truth. Hyundai Group may also have their own steel company which helps lower the price of their products, but Toyota also has Denso that produces just about everything else. Doesn't have anything to do with manufacturing standards.

@Jkp564 You can't even speak English properly and you wouldn't make any sense even if you did. I stated an objective fact that a man child (you) on the internet doesn't know, yet is common knowledge to auto industry insiders, and you go on a white knight crusade against me. Laughable. I even admitted that a fully optioned K900 edges out a base LS in interior materials and value; I'd even say it's better than a base 7-Series interior wise. Time for you to own your BS and actually research what a fully optioned LS has.
