  1.  @KitchenSinkSoup  He has a point, somewhat. Humans are not reasonable animals. If you believe in objective morality, as I do, society will never reach its potential when hampered by unrestricted publishing. Likewise, modern news media is very cabalistic and the influence on the population is well-engineered and weaponized (the very media influence that instigated the Jacob Blake riots where Rittenhouse was present). This is not to say that speech/press should be state-censored and operated, but that more serious repercussions need to be in place for journalism (and publishers) for repeated, and demonstrably intentional, malign propaganda. A society with enough consequences will reduce this behavior (assuming governance is corruption-averse regarding this power). I understand the age of mass communication makes this seem impossible to control, but it's the major media outlet oligopoly doing the most damage (and obviously oligopolistic social media networks too). Would definitely reduce the mob-control of the media .
