@joespittle1 120k miles is nothing. Wait until the age catches up to it. And I don't believe for one second that you haven't had issues outside standard maintenance.

@joshuaoverton3309 The diesels are much better. And the statistics highly contradict your statement. A Land Cruiser (if not rusted out and abused by a negligent owner) will be infinitely more reliable and durable on average. There is a reason Land Cruisers from the 90s and 2000s go for 2-3x what comparable X5s go for. And an X5 doesn't have any of the capabilities of a Land Cruiser.

8:15 That's just not true. The G20 has the better interior tech and is able to have more individual options done to it. If you don't need the extra space then there's no reason not to get this at the same price.

@georgetheterminator5116 Uh huh. If that truly is miles then I kind of feel bad for you. Not even anyone on the BMW forums has one of that mileage so it's uncharted territory. The only question I have is when did you buy it? The car hasn't lasted that long with just brakes. As someone familiar with those cars, a lot more had to be done to keep that on the road and I'm guessing you never had to deal with it.

@JulezWinnfield What the hell kind of question is that? This is a YouTube comment section, buddy. His comment is anecdotal and so is mine. No one can prove anything here but Toyota designs Land Cruisers to last 25 years of harsh conditions. Anyone can state their car was garbage: It could be a lemon or flood car, etc., and not representative of the population. Edit: You should also look into how depreciation is calculated. It is heavily based on reliability and cost to repair. In both of those categories the Land Cruiser/LX has proven to be the best in its class for decades.
