Hope you're joking. Assault rifles aren't even owned by 99%+ of American gun owners. Assault rifles, by definition, are select-fire, intermediate cartridge, rifles. Assault rifles fire full auto and, therefore, require registration in the NFRTR and are not produced any longer for civilians. In fact, only ones made before May 1986 are available to even transfer. This is because of the Hughes Amendment under the FOPA. They are also typically $20k or so. Now don't buy into the media's usage of the term...

@landrewmackinnon4888 Your moral superiority is disgusting. You are not better than the people who own the trucks. These are not worse for the environment than a European semi, like a Scania. Without diesel trucks you would starve in today's world. I suggest you research just how much of ground transportation is done by such trucks. Apart from the luxury side, Ram 2500s and 3500s are heavily used in maintenance and construction because of great payload, towing, and off-roading abilities.
