@B3burner Such an ignorant comment. More environmentally friendly technology is relatively slowly taking over oil-dependent tech. It isn't going anywhere for decades. It is best to keep foreign dependency on oil to a minimum because we, as Americans, should know what happens when that isn't done...

If you want to see the definition of a sanctimonious and pretentious comment, take a look at your first reply. "Fracking bad". No, really? Suck it up and understand that the majority of cars won't be BEVs until at least the late 2040s and the rest of the country won't be on a renewable energy grid for even longer. As an American, you should know what happens when we depend too heavily on foreign oil... We are moving as fast as possible toward renewable energy thanks to the efforts of great private companies. Throwing away ICE and other machines that haven't reached the end of their life in favor of expedited green energy does more harm to the environment than waiting.

Ridiculous logic. The US is less dependent on foreign oil than at any time in the past. He very clearly mentioned it because winning those states is dependent on a massive amount of people working in the oil industry. Aaand I hate to break it to you, bud, but oil is going to be a necessity for decades to come. More environmentally friendly tech is slowly replacing it. Trump has never been opposed to it as long as it provides jobs to those who lose their job in oil. Your failure to understand this is sad.
