Seriously, people? You act as if he doesn't have a YouTube channel to make content for and gain a following! It would be stupid as hell to not save it and create a series for the content! No one does these trucks on YouTube!!!

Yeah, bud, but think about it from another person's perspective! He is a YouTuber gaining followers from his frequent content and repair videos. The revenue potential from the journey alone would more than make up for the cost he could get this for! This is basically a business. Don't lead people down the wrong path based on completely different situations.

It is definitely supposed to be in parallel and not series.

Nice you kept up with comments and didn't give up on it.

@radomcrado9614 No, I don't think you know much about YouTube ad revenue as you think you do. He's doing pretty well for himself with these videos and content. The entire automotive rebuild/project community on YouTube that got huge took on consistently complicated and interesting projects to make various video series from. His viewers have high involvement and will continue to have this with continuous non-stop content. It's simply piss-poor optics to advise this man to "walk away". Long term reliability? It doesn't get much more reliable than these engines. Who cares if it needs to be sent to a machine shop and rebuilt!? I'd love to see it recorded. It's content and what makes the channel. If he can get the truck for $1k and spend $3-4k on engine that is a pittance.

@radomcrado9614 Yeah, but you don't really have the information required from his position to inform him. If we knew his revenue per video and he polled viewers we could gauge sentiment and do a cost/benefit analysis.
