Oh man, these cars have always had a special place in my mind. There was a blue C8 which drove around Boston and that's the last one I've seen.

There is no reason I would prefer it to a RUF CTR 3. They did absolutely nothing much here, other than creating a sensationalist design, that bests the CTR 3 and its price. A car for the ostentatious elite.
45
Vanila Kung "... Uneducated rich people"? The wealthy don't remain wealthy because of a lack of education. They are educated and disciplined.
33
13:00 "They're hand making these cars: Very low production. So, the reason why race cars and formula one cars are so incredibly expensive is because they're building these in small numbers, special, to go as fast and special as possible." Facepalm Classic cheap sales pitch taking advantage of the scarcity heuristic.
33
It's funny, but money launderers and pyramid schemes don't deserve this attention
27
If it was over 190 indicated speed, the true speed was probably in the low 180s.
26
Love the stories, Ed!
25
The LFA is one of the most stunning vehicles I've ever had the chance to interact with: Much moreso than any Italian. It is a moving vehicle. The quality is alien.
24
They used to bring the Wheegos to the Atlanta auto shows each year and I sat in one at some point. I was trying not to laugh at the Wheego guy talking it up.
23
I remember going to Palmer and laughing with them when they got in a new ('08 or '09) Viper ACR in red with a full blue interior. They had specifically ordered black interior, I believe, but the factory screwed the order up. I bet that's a rare specification now, haha.

"Shop foreman"? You mean "Klink"? Helped me out with my 220 as well. Great consultant for anything MB. If he didn't move to Alabama I'd still be giving him all my business. One day I'm owning a 500E like his. Amazing cars.
19
Holy shit! At 8:35 a converted Venturi 400 Trophy is about the rarest thing I've ever seen someone record and not mention.
15
The Aventadors just never did it for me the way the Murciélago did.
13
A chance to set precedent that would discourage future behavior like this, but doubtful. It's Detroit. It's closer to a 3rd world country than the rest of the country.
12
The minority that uses them as a daily are my type of people.
11
anonymous You aren't getting anyone decent because of a Corvette, bud.
11
The 612 has always been my favorite modern Ferrari design.
11
I could see the red flags from day one.
10
Well, they should at least sit with their lights on
9
Magic Nomadic Noooooooooo it's not. It shows nothing.
9
Imagine the insurance rates...
9
That color, Verde Artemis, and Verde Draco are in my top 3 favorite colors for Lamborghinis. I don't blame you for trying to buy it.
8
I've been an enthusiastic fan ever since the G8 GXP was on the market. Fantastic cars.
8
FBI needs to get involved and do a thorough investigation of the corruption.
8
Nicolas Fisse No....
8
Too bad you are totally wrong and Ed knows way more about tax policy than you (working in politics just teaches you manipulation). Georgia has some of the best schools in the country in its suburbs, just not inside the corrupt city of Atlanta where they, too, get plenty of tax revenue.
7
This challenge was always one of the more interesting automotive events
6
At least one Ad Astra is looking successful. Check out the VASIMR engine.
6
The salt would kill me. Totally not worth it.
6
@briannawu6180 Do you actually have a rebuttal or are just going to play the victim here. I said nothing ad-hominem. If you hold a political science degree or work in politics holding office it's a fact Ed is way more knowledge on the subject.
6
Yeah, many police are egotistical and douches when they are behind on meeting their quotas. Another major issue they have is blindly following signals given by their dogs (basically acting as if they are always right and using that precedent to do whatever they want).
6
Wow. Nearly 11,000 people subscribed.
5
Haha, I remember seeing it several times down at the dealership.
5
@tokko6884 Nothing wrong with skepticism
5
Wow. It was a much cheaper option on the G8 GT and GXP. I had a white GXP with the red interior and gauges. I wish they made more.
5
@jowarrior Agreed. This is a pretentious variant of the CTR 3 and likely less functional.
5
I wouldn't remove it unless personally identifying info was included. Re-upload it.
5
Definitely a lesson in high security and prevention against novice thieves. Thanks for sharing, Ed.
5
I know you're aware, but if you do the work yourself then these things are piece of cake (other than ABC suspension). Among the easiest German cars to work on. Not very expensive for parts. My Lexus is more in parts cost.
5
Tear the atrocious wrap off of the car and show us what condition the paint is in.
5
Jaguars seemed to be in great condition. Too bad.
5
Love the videos and I definitely hope VinWiki grows exponentially.
4
What a coincidence. Have had a huge thing for these exact cars for 10+ years.
4
The Audi Q8 will bear an uncoincidental appearance.
4
I have loved both the 140s and the 220s since my first in 2013. There are quirks to both. As an electronics fan the 220 brings some interesting quirks to the table. I hate the ABC suspension on some 220s but that's about the only thing. The interiors are fine to me. Solid cars.
4
The Spyker is certainly timeless
4
Maybe 5% of it
4
Some of my favorite Ferraris. The 550 and 575 are priced nicely currently. I prefer them in something other than red.
4
6:29 But the G8 GXP had the 6.2L LS3. You can't compare the G8 GT to an SS.
4
People like this just don't understand how to live. Of course, I'm glad you still handled it professionally.
