  1. Worm gear clamps are not the same at all. There are two major types: High torque worm gear clamps (which are the best choice for small coolant lines) and constant tension worm gear clamps (best choice for radiator hose, intake/induction hose, and intercooler hose). The two aren't really interchangeable at all.
