  2. The Chinese make absolutely substandard cars today. Like anything else, you can only say they make decent cars "for the price". This Polestar 2 was also designed and engineered in Sweden by Swedish people. Not Chinese. Chinese people don't even prefer their own engineering. The new Hongqi just had a terrible launch. Quality isn't there yet but maybe one day it will be.
