  2. There is little subjectivity to obvious safety issues created by a yoke without stalks for signals, etc., and additional surface area. Yes, it increases time needed to activate. It is simply a greater distraction. Capacitive sensors are not as reliably activated without developing accurate muscle memory (not something that should be needed on a car that needs standardization). There is no reason to abandon stalks and circular wheels that the entire world has already adapted to, is reliable, and ergonomic
