I'm am very surprised at how quiet the internet was about the Inspiration 4 mission.

@jbtechcon7434 I'm not talking about media companies. At least CNN an MSNBC covered Inspiration 4. I'm talking about people like Philip Defranco, The Green Brother a and even talk show host like Trevor Noah and Stephan Colbert.

But... Musk have never been to space.

Lunik Considering the records and achievement they accomplished, it was a bigger deal than many of the news they decided to cover. Even that Netflix show wasn't talked about by channels that would usually be all over new Netflix show or documentaries.

@Hudson316 I know, those engineers were probably asking "but why" too when hey raised over 200 millions for St Jude Hospitals. Still, it was still a bigger deal than lost of the thing they did covered. I mean one channel decided to cover the news about the medical expenses of Jackass casts instead.

Lunik Few actually . Were there any younger American in space before? Were there more people in space in the same time (14 people) then when Inspiration was out there ? When was the last pure commercial flight flew that high before? Were there a time where orbital spaceflight this much accessible to people without government backing? Many of the achievements done by that mission were milestone that haven't been crossed before or were lost due to various factors ( retirements of the Spec Shuttle eg) .

Lunik 1-It does matter. Astronauts , Cosmonauts and Taikonauts tend to typically skewed older. Ghermon Titov isn't really the norms, now I think it will be more of a norms. 2- Were they in orbit? Nope, there were never a time where there were more people in orbit . I should have written in orbit because I forgot some people do consider suborbital flights theses days. 3 - It is. It shows that space is now more accessible to everyone even without expensive government sponsors (you still need rich sponsor at the moments though) and that it will only ramps up . 4-That is just silly. That is like saying a coffee shop is government sponsored because cops buys their coffee there. Or we sponsors McDonald every time we go there. A customer isn't really a sponsor. NASA paid for a contract for Space X to build the Dragon capsule, thus is more of a customer relationship rather than a sponsorship. Inspiration 4 wans not sponsored by any governs entity.

I was wondering why that that image of Chuck Feeney that you used at first looked nothing like him.
