To be fair Starlink would be very useful in providing internet access to rural and remote locations at relatively cheap price ,and so far have been rather effective at that (judging by their trial run).

You do know that zero tax payers money went into funding Starlink , right? Starlink was funded by private money (mostly from Tesla and Musk's coffers). As for Tesla, they currently have no use for Starlink. I don't know where you got all this fake news but you should stop spreading them.

@j0j0dartiste21 Space X was the only US company that have the ability send astronaut to the ISS. This is free market. The reason those astronauts were "stranded" was because the only other US company who claim can do what Space X can failed return those astronauts to Earth .

@ That is completely BS. The spacecraft that brought those astronauts home docked with the ISS in September of last year and it was alway there as emergency return vehicle . Notice that was during Biden's presidency . Elon Musk did designed a rocket and sent it within weeks. In facts their return was delayed because the new Spacecraft Elon promised had problem.
