  1.  @Timmie1995  There have been multiple independent studies which concluded that even with the high environmental impact of EV batteries, BEV asre still far less polluting that an equivalent ICE over both vehicles' lifetime. So yes the concern over BEV being more environmentally damaging than an ICEV have been debunked. Also , the idea that you need to change your EV batteries every few years is a ridiculous myth . For example Tesla have a warranty of 8 years ion their batteries and real life data shows that their batteries can last to around 20 years without significant degradation
