  1. Energia is as relevant as Saturn V or The Space Shuttle. All three of them are more powerful than The Falcon Heavy and yet none of them are in operation for very obvious reasons.

  3. +morgan1985uk It was so kind of The Soviet Union to let the US to hog all the limelight instead of busting their balls for the deception, right? Corection: They passed through the Van Allen belt (which James Van Allen himself said was traversable) because they needed to (it was on their way to the moon). We never sent another astronaut through it since then because we never attempted lo leave Earth orbit (blame it on the lack of political will) since then despite having the technology to do do . Now that interest in manned exploration (Moon, Mars etc) have piqued again we will no doubt passing through it again.
