People pointed out that in order for such disaster to happen , a very large segment of the tube need to be suddenly removed, a task that can be don only using heavy machinery or explosives.A hole s few cm wide would not do the trick.The same danger also exist in commercial air travel or even high speed rail travel.

  4. The whole idea that the Hyperloop would explossively decompress at the slightes puncture is just ridiculous.They're not made from the same material as party balloons.
