Never heard of his Gaza riviera plans?

That's only for small devices and doesn't apply to EV , though. Because EV tend to have better thermal management their batteries tend to last the lifetime of the cars, which is around 20-25 years.

It is practically impossible for Starship to not deliver. They already have the getting into orbit and recovering the heavy booster almost perfected . The only thing they need to work on is reliability, reusability and safety.

@mattyg337ify I second what Adrian to said: Give us the alleged videos he plagiarised and we'll judge for ourselves.

@ And yet Netanyahu gleefully agree with this horrifying dumb plan . BTW, Israel became the largest diamond exporter despite not having any diamond mines the same way Singapore became huge honey exporter, despite not having honey bees.
4
@kenolent8611 That is true for almost all MLMs.
2
@jespado Their customers don't really care whether or not Starship will successfully land or be reusable . The Heavy Booster is already a proven product that can deliver payload to orbit at cheaper price than current offerings . Even with that alone their financial future is already secured, before even counting the Starlink money.
2
@Sadiregu1619 That is like saying Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy are failures because they launched zero cargo into orbit in 2009 .
2
@gundamnduke0 There have not been a single years where EV demand went down .
1
@samsonsoturian6013 The problem lies with climate change, not oil reserve.
1
@ The only one denying reality here is you. The reality is sale of EV have been growing year after years. Google the actual number if you don't believe me.
1
@gundamnduke0 How did you failed at googling this badly .Even cursory search show EV sales grew in 2024 from the 2023 figures , In facts there were no year in the past decades where the numbers shrank . Jan 2025 sales are higher than the Jan 2024 sales, that's growth. .

@rock3tcatU233 This is actually false. They have good margins on very commercial launch.
1
@hgm8337 How is Space X terrible?
1
@kkent4174 You do know that Space X's Falcon family of rockets have over 290 successful launches and have sent more than 40 people into space , right? They have some of if not the best launch platform in history.
1
Tesla also isn't generally terrible. It still have more good than bad going for it.
1
@aes0p895 To be fair , the Cybertruck itself isn't terrible product for the company. It is an okay truck in general. One silver lining is his terrible management of Twitter might cause his to lose control of Tesla. The cost or running that company into the ground and the interest on loans for its purchase might cause him to sell most of his Tesla stocks.

@dobariyanaitikdineshbhai6832 Not really, every year million of people goes on extreme tourism , skydiving, mountain climbing , you name it. The problem is current space tourism industry had yet to solve the problem that those matured industries solved years ago such as cost, infrastructure , safety etc . In short it still have not developed enough to be feasible , but that is only a matter of time.
1
@rajeshtandon7409 Since when does Israel cares about that?
1
@ You referring how Musk refused to pay rent and how he employed tax loophole to avoid paying his share , huh.
1
@Sadiregu1619 Give me any good reason why you think Starship and Heavy Booster would not repeat the success of Space X's Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy series.
1
@Sadiregu1619 No one , not even Tesla and Space fans, ever took Elon's promises at face value when he make any of his predictions . In facts the term Elon Time was coined by those fans to describe his missed deadlines. The promises do came through, he just always overestimate or exaggerate the rate of progress and when those goals will be met. This was true both the history of the Falcon rockets and still hold for Starship .
1
@ The Starship project isn't funded by taxpayers money , though. Saying Space X is government funded is as stupid as saying Politico was government funded.
1
@Danovio How is he stealing tax money?
1
People who criticise him for Starship usually are very ignorant of space exploration. Make no mistake, Elon Musk is terrible person, but people seem to conflate him with some of the projects his more successful companies are running.
