  38. +jopalolive Singapore isn't China , it's in South East Asia ( the island nation nestled between Malaysia to the north and Indonesia to the South) . The population of Singapore is around 75% Chinese , 15 % Malay ,7.5% Indian (you can easily tell all three ethnic apart by a single glance) and an assortment of other ethnic groups making out the rest. Of course this isn't really reflected in Crazy Rich Asians, something some have complained about the movie.
