You would also remember that Trump" White House was the once that instigated the hostile atmosphere with the press . It hard to be civil with someone who lies to your face, accuse you of lying and tries to supress your right as free press. The reason why everyone was civil with the previous Presidents (Bush , Obama etc) regardless whether or not they were on the "same side" is because none of them tried to to the anti free press pseudo-dictator shit that That Trump did.
