@greghudson9717 Again, losing money on charger set up is good when they can sell their car at premium on the basis of having the best charger network. I think Tesla is smart enough to employ a loss lead business model. Let nor forget that Microsoft lost money on very Xbox sole yet makes far more profit on games sold exclusive to their platform. The same goes for Gillette.

@superkd7030 Holy ...You are that triggered by my my innocuous joke to go an that rant.🤣🤣🤣 Chillax, take that trunk out your behind, I'm sure Tesla will be able to deliver those cybertrucks this year once Texas is running.
1
@superkd7030 Wow, you are still so butthurt over the fact that I joked about how ne hummer is still more than any Tesla pickup that was delivered last year. Get a life kid.
1
@superkd7030 LOL. I'm not the one who post pointless, paragraph-less wall of text. Can you quote the parts where I ever said "hummer outsold the Cybertruck"? I get it now, the joke complete flew over your head. Now you your buthurt make more sense. ROLFMSO🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1
@topev7864 You can say the same for pretty much all other auto manufacturers.
1
Until I found out to what entity Musk donated that money to and how it will be spend, I'm not keen on singing any praised to Musk. I mean Trump donated to the Trump Foundation and we all knew how that went.
1
@xiaoka Yeah, but you got my point.
1
1:27 I sincerely doubt that. You have history of not double checking your" info" based on your confirmation bias and I'm getting the feelin you still haven't learn your lesson.
1
Starlink is far too expensive to be used in poorer communities in Africa.
1
By that logic The GOP would buy a Zetta because they love Russia so much
1
So this mean Tesla is changing status of worker from salarymen to temps in order to reduce benefits obligated to them and protection they are warranted. . That is not a good new to the workers that received this fate. Of course Tesla have no problem mass hiring ins place that have less worker protection like China .
1
Wow , there is a scammer bot impersonating The Electric Viking here in the comment section.
1
@tedmoss Tesla or Elon Musk have been shown to care more about bottom line than worker pay as evident by their previous labour practises . Musk will not pay people to not work at his factories.
1
@MyUniversalUniversity Yes, taking care of them like firing their entire PR divisions without notice or replacing them with temps (which receives less worker protections and benefits). It's funny that you think they did stock split for their employees. The biggest beneficiaries are stock holders, majority of them don't work for Tesla. .
1
I wonder how much it cost to maintain that truck in its entire lifetime vs an equivalent BEV.
1
@kgakzierogks4735 Never heard of H.G Well or Isaac Asimov, huh?
1
In other words , Tesla wants to charge "premium price" for LR Model Y.
1
The standard home plugs in my country is 240V so we pretty much have Lvl 2 charging here.
1
@villageidiot8194 The problem with batteries regards to aircrafts and ship is that it is too heavy to he point where it compromise range and payload capacity. Until and if any battery can match the energy density (per weight) of hydrogen , it will be a better alternative than batteries for such application . Another utility where hydrogen still have an edge is for static large scale, long term storages of energy. Think saving summer time solar energy for the winter months .
1
Funny that he focussed on Cancer when Climate Change is the bigger issue with ICEV.
1
@togowack You mean tech start ups like Nikola Motors and Theranos?
1
@togowack The SEC is a government agency ,not corporate entity. If you pay taxes in the US you are the ones paying them.
1
@togowack Either you have proof of this or you are just spouting conspiracy theory garbage.
1
@togowack Look at my OP, I already stated that they aren't doing as a good jobs as they could. Unlike you, I am not blamings some ridiculous an irrational conspiracy theories for their misgivings. Also you seem to think companies like Theranos and Nikola should get away with their crimes.
1
@togowack And you think the crypto market is any better? With all those ponzi and scam popping out there in the crypto world it is a far more dangerous place tan the stock market. As for Nikola, if you had to ask that question, then you really haven't paid any attention to what's happening..
1
@togowack Not as bad? LOL tell that to the billions that are lost to crypto scam. Are yiu goin to tell me that you don't know of all the lies Nikola used to trick all their investors? Dude, most EV channels (Sam Alexander, Transport Evolved etc ) thoroughly covered them already. You can't be that ignorant.
1
@togowack "Crypto scam? Which one? " Therer are too many to count. Ilya Lichtenstein, Heather Morgan alone laundered 4.5 billion worth of stolen cryptos. "the stock market is guaranteed losses." In what way is it "guaranteed" loss? "their hydrogen trucks are out and driving around." You mean the one that needed to be pushed off a hill? They don't have hydrogen trucks. They don't build their own battery powered trucks.
1
@togowack " you remember the Gamespot scam?" I don't think you are remembering it correctly because there was no such thin as a Gamespot scam. They wee controversy with Robinhood (which is why they re under investigation for it.) but no scam involving Gamespsot itslefs. "Nikola trucks have driven fully on hydrogen across many states, and you know you're misinforming people and only proving my point." No you are just straight up lying. Nikola just delivered a few BEV trucks (not hydrogen) and they were converted Iveco trucks. Again , channel like Sam Alexander and even the one you are on (The Electric Viking) have debunked Nikola and Trevor Milton's lies multiple time. Milton may be spending some time in prison for this .
1
@togowack Did you came from parallel universe or something? None of that happened during the GameStop Saga. What happened was a bunch or Redditt campaign manage to derail some short seller plans, causing the shorts to lose billions . None of that is illegal. What the investigation was about action of few brokerage (including Robinhood) which tried to stop people from buying GME. It was very well documented on what happened? How did you misremember that?
1
@togowack If you bought the big lie that crypto is going to be more fair and just than what it purported to replace, then I have a bridge to sell you.
1
@togowack The crypto world is just a rigged and controlled by a few rich and powerful as the real world. For example the $41billion NFT exited are distributed only among less than 400K people, less that 10% of them control 80% of all NFT values. You'll find the same trend for pretty much all crypto. The main appeal of crypto is it's decentralisation and lack of true regulation. The problems with deregulation and decentralisation is that there is no recourse for bad predatory behaviour. A Wild Wild West scenario is not something to strive for.

@zekew2418 So mature of you, bringing up my dead father who died in 1998, a man who survived two World Wars and being detained as a political prisoner after the Imperial Japanese occupation. Quite amazing that you heard of him.
1
@zekew2418 My parents also taught me not to lie and to own up to what I said and do, it is shame you seemingly didn't listen when your parents tried to teach you that lesson.
1
@zekew2418 I suggest you looked up all the thing that justifiably made him ass a narcistic , hypocritical ,self serving egomaniacal man to any sane, non biased person (accusing a hero of being a paedophile just because that hurt his feeling, being a total hypocrite about governments "intervention " and politics etc). Again, you are talking to a man who used to be a Musk fanboy, you should look up what he actually said and do instead of blindly worshipping him. And Starlink for Ukraine? The country is in the imminent collapse from invasion and he tried to sue that a promo gimmick for his Starlink systems? Only a person who cheer at his "child sized " submarine" idea foe the Thai Rescue or his proudly blasting that Tesla air filtration systems is good for those choking from the California wildfire would buy this virtual bridge he's selling , that would be very useful for the Ukrainian people. "As to lying my mother would say of you "is not that the pot calling the kettle black". Considering that I have never did the awful thing that Musk have (spreading dangerous misinformation about a deadly pandemic eg) I think I can proudly say that idiom ' apply to me. "Last year he not only donated 50 million $ to St. Jude's children's hospital after the Inspiration flight he helped fund that raised 200 million ". Oh yes, how nice of this 220 billion dollar worth man to donate 50 million to St Jude, make you all giddy when you realised your donation of 100 bucks to charity is more of the percentage pf your net worth than Musk kindness .Kudos to Jared Isaacman and his wife (who donated to St Jude more than twice Musk's donation) to convince Musk to do so after he (Jared) paid Musk tens of million (he said he paid less than 200 million to Space X) for the Inspiration 4 mission and giving Space X free promotion for it . Jared Isaacman is indeed a good man.
1
@icosthop9998 I don't see anything heating up here, beside our planet , that is.
1
I always find it strange that you never mentioned how phasing out fossil fuel helps combat Climate Change.
1
@sagecoach Are they? It seems that project is in the backburner for now.
1
German environmentalist at their finest. Remember , tis is the same country that chose highly polluting, dangerous coal power plants over the safer, cleaner nuclear power plants. To make matters worse , those coal plants releases more radioactive waste into the environment in one years of operation than a nuclear power plant within its lifetime.
1
Considering that the speed limit was removed due to Tesla onw negligence, yes, Tesla should be held liable . Can you imagine if other people can easily impersonate you and make your car company modify your car without your permission.
1
Yes, because Volkswagen supporting Nazi more than 60 years is equals to Elon Musk allegedly doing it right now. You are getting more ridiculous everyday.
1
Will you cover the lawsuit that California filed against Tesla for massive racial discrimination at one of their factories?
1
I don't think Gordon Johnson is a short seller.
1
Of course Tesla own. I doubt you would cover this if Tesla lost. Unfortunately you have shown very "reluctant' to cover an bad news involving Tesla, something that hinders you as a trustworthy/reliable source of info on anything EV.
1
Chuck Feeney and Dolly Parton (who isn't a billionaire but still very super rich) should also be on the example lost of very rich people who aren't arsehole.
1
Musk is doing a Trump here, emulation the corrupt orange buffoon is never a good thing.
1
Alt least they are saner and better human being than Trump and his allies. Not much of improvement but it is still is.
