Only morons think FCEV are the future of consumer EV. FCEV are a dead end technology that will go nowhere for consumer EV.

@swannvictor1388 It wasn't Japanese whaling that nearly drove most whale specie to near extinction, it was mostly Western whaling practises. Japan actually have little impact during the heydays of whaling.

@swannvictor1388 Beside Japan there are few countries that still hunt whales such as Iceland and Norway (which lead the the number of whales killed) . In all these countries whaling is supported by governments and would've died out on its own if not for that. Currently whaling isn't the biggest threat to whale. Factor like ship collision and bycatches (over 300K whale and dolphin dies annually from this alone) as well habitat are a bigger factor threatening their survival .

@The0ldg0at Faster than any other power plants if not for the bureaucracy. That type of disaster that Onigawa managed to survive unscathed would've completely destroyed any other type of plant be it fossil fuel (coal, natural gas ) or renewable (solar, wind) .Again, if it wasn't for bureaucracy, the plant can literally restart operation merely day after the Tsunami due to the fact that most of its reactor were undamaged.
