Don't Mitsubishi have lot of other business besides cars? I mean they literally build the F-2 fighter bombers (just like how they build the Zeroes in WW2)..

Because Of how important t Mitsubishi and Nissan to the Japanese national security (they produced high tech weapons like jet fighters, tanks , artillery and missiles for Japanese Self Défense Force), I doubt that the Japanese governments would allow any Chinese linked entity to acquire those companies. That be like a Chinese company buying Lockheed Martin.

Not without losing control of Tesla and Space X. Most of his wealth are locked in those companies . Though Elon Musk himself have stated if anyone can give him a concrete way to end such problems (he was referring to wold hunger) , he would gladly liquidate a his assets to solve them. So far no one have .

@truecolors6469 Tesla is is the process of making a $25K BEV. Making affordable EV isn't easy. There is a reason whey EV are expensive. It is ignorant to cays he have done nothing for Earth when Tesla alone was responsible for the current change into EV.

If we go by your maths, then if Musk sell a model 3 at 37K, then he loses money. Do you understand now why Tesla have to develop (and spend their profits on the research and developments) way to build a 25K BEV ?

@truecolors6469 Hyperloop isn't his project, none of the companies and entities that are working on the Hyperloop have anything to do with Musk. . He efforts were spent on Tesla and Space X, both endeavour that are beneficial for the planet and humanity.
