If you are lookin for an unbiased EV news , then you are at the wrong place. Sam Evan /The Electric Viking is very biased in his coverage of EV news. It is ok if you know what his bias are (he's a Tesla and Chinese EV fanboy) , just don't ' spread misinformation on how "unbiased' he is. There are are some unbiased EV news channel out there e such as Transport Evolved.

@TheDocLamkin Sam have a habit of disregarding/not covering any negative Tesla news such Tesla having to to pay $100 million after losing a racial discrimination case or when it was revealed that Tesla may manipulated data to overstate how safe their autodrive tech really is. Favouritism by omission is not good sign of reliability or integrity.

My theory on why Tesla cost so low is that Tesla is willing to lose money on building superchargers just like how razor , gaming console and ink jet printer loses money of their. "products". Unlike the other charging companies that the mains business is charging, EV and installing chargers, Tesla merely used them as perks for their real products.

@greghudson9717 Again, losing money on charger set up is good when they can sell their car at premium on the basis of having the best charger network. I think Tesla is smart enough to employ a loss lead business model. Let nor forget that Microsoft lost money on very Xbox sole yet makes far more profit on games sold exclusive to their platform. The same goes for Gillette.
