  1.  @Enthropical_Thunder  The main benefit of hydrogen vs battery is that you can refill to your maximum range a lot , lot faster with hydrogen (around 5-10 minutes) . In every other way it is not as good as current gen of batteries.

  4.  @deadprivacy  Firstly, several research shows that even if in the worst case scenario all the energy needed to power BEV came from polluting brown coal, the BEV would still have less CO2 emission than an ICE in their lifetime . It would take longer (10 years or more) but they will still be less polluting in the long run. Thankfully we are moving away from fossil fuel for electric power generation and this help EV recoup their environmental cost a a lot faster (2 years or less in California eg) Secondly , you grossly overestimated the amount of cabling (which is mostly steel and aluminium) to support the expanding electricity need due to EV adoption. Thirdly, expanding the power network would only be a one time expense )which is worse paying $1000 once or $1 for 10,000 days?) and the infrastructure can then be used literally for centuries with proper maintenance compared to the continuous logistic of fossil fuel. Lastly, shouting (did your caps lock key got stuck or something?) your ignorance on the matter doesn't make you any less wrong in so many ways. Based on all the data (only a moron would argue again factual data) ,BEV is indeed far less polluting than their ICE counterpart and switching to them would greatly reduce the amount of greenhouse produced .

  8. Hydrogen is almost as bad for the nvirement as fossile fuel. Real Engineering channel did an excellent breakdown of the weakness of hydrogen in their you tube video "The Truth About Hydrogen" .

  9. Why do people (like the OP ) still believe and spread this myth ?. Studies have repeated show than even if 100% of the energy that hoes to recharge your BEV came from coal power plants, the BEV is still far less polluting and more eco friendly than its ICE counterpart.

Unlike one that rely on fossil fuel, such remote station and community could stay of grid pretty much forever without ever relying on contnious fuel delivery. Thirdly , why would they need fuel if they have electricity? You do know that you can make electric motor and generators without any magnet at all , right?In fact most electric motor and electric generators(including at power plants) don't even have any magnets in them. That is why diesel locomotive actually use the diesel to generate electricity that drive their electric motor rather than using them directly and why current high end BEV can run circles around ICE supercars. While it is very well know that BEV have a much huger environmental impact upon production than ICE, its total lifetime environmental cost is much lower than ICE which continue to pollute as long as it still running. Various studies found that in worse case scenario where 100% of electricity came from coal power plants, the BEV would still be less polluting than an ICE at the end of their lifetime, that is not accounting for the fact that renewable and other clean energy are quickly supplanting coal for power generation.. In places where the grid used more sustainable energy, a BEV surpassed ICE within 5 years or equal use.

  19.  @deadprivacy  So? Nobody uses an electric car (or any car) for only two years and then throws it away. An EV like Tesla would require a battery ( the biggest carbon emitted in a BEV) change after around 20 years(the battery is still very much usable, just it range /capacity is now 10-20% less), in the same time you would have change to a new ICEV if not at least change very component of your engine like cylinder, valves etc (due to metal fatigue and wear an tear). An electric motor doesn't require any change at all for the entire lifetime of the owner and the owner's kids. The only way an ICEV can match any BEV in terms of emission is if that ICEV have an mpg of over 50 and at least 40% the electricity needed to recharge that BEV came from fossil fuel .

Even organizations that is quick to jump in any cancer correlation sn any source) denies such link exist.

The thing about charge EV is if you only uses that 100-150 miles (most entry level BEV actually have more than 200miles/charge) daily , then you really don't need to wait for it to recharge ,ever . I mean only a fraction of the time everyday is spent driving , thus the time you are not using your car (if you're at works or sleeping eg) would be used to fully charge your car. In short you actually spent less time waiting to charge an EV than the time you would've spent at the gas stations waiting for your car to fully refuel. Long distance travelling, now that is another matter . So far the only EV that manage to partially solved this is Tesla due to their long range and abundance of fast charging stations.

  34.  @garosama4517  Currently ,yes. But that is a temporary problem as BEV are getting cheaper . Tesla for example are working on a 25K model that would put in in the price range of most cars buyer, with the added benefit that I mentioned before. Current BEV can fulfil the need of over 95% of car user . The only place BEV still lags behind is when it comes to those with special need such as vey frequents long commutes .

  42. Hydrogen is pointless dead end for consumer cars. Refueling time time is ist only advantage an even that doesn't' matter if you recharge your BEV at home. BEV are cheaper , more reliable and offers better performance. Thee eis reason plug in and pure BEV destroys hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in consumer adoption.

All those thing you mentioned (except for EMF) can cause molecular damage to you DNA and thus can cause cancer. EMF on the other hand isn't an ionising radiation and thus have zero effect on you DNA. There as much reason to have EMF shielding as there is to wear tin foil hat . That's in the the scientific and medical community people claims of EMF cancer link is rightfully put in the same crackpot bracket as climate change denier, anti-vaccine nutjobs and homeopathy believers.

How about the countless peer reviewed scientific paper that debunked the cancer connection or at the very least found zero link. Or the fact that EMF isn't an ionising radiation , you know the type of radiation that can cause molecular damage. There is a reason that even the most "trigger happy" of health organization done' consider them to be a cancer risk, at all. And no, the level of EM interference caused by electric appliance and EV wiring is too small to have any effect on the human body. Not even an MMR machine (which created thousands of time more magnetic wave ) can do that. You know what else is a form of energy? Soundwave a.k.a noise. And no they also do not cause cancer.

  49.  @miagi1337  Don't Tesla have 10 year warranty on the battery? From what I heard Tesla have a very slow degradation for their battery pack and you can expect to change the battery pack on after 20 years.
