  1.  @jimlovesgina  If that were so, why weren't those wells sitting patiently, waiting for the oil prices to go back up, so they could go right back into production? They incentive was there. Could it be because of all the restrictions placed on oil production by Biden? Add to that the cancelling of the Keystone pipeline and oil productions stagnated, allowing the prices to reach near record heights.
