His claims about why they didn't sound the sirens is complete BS. When sirens start blaring and they're not turned off, the first thing that most people would do is go on social media, turn on the news, or contact family and friends and find out what the problem is. Authorities should have blanketed the airwaves with information and safe zones identified. Police and others should have been put in place to direct citizens to those safe zones in a safe fashion. This is as incompetent as it gets. It's so egregiously incompetent that it's no wonder people are suspicious of their motives.

@chetdudeweb707 It doesn't matter where I live. They had sirens. The top guy said, in THIS video, that they considered setting off the sirens but they were afraid that people would go the wrong way and into the fire. He said it. That was a terrible decision. This guy was the head of Emergency services. One of his primary responsibilities would be formulate plans that could be used in any emergency. They had NO contingency plans let alone plans for specific emergencies. It's pure laziness.
