What the hell does Trump have to do with this? What's this obsession with Trump? Why is it that with every discussion someone invariably goes "TRUMP". That's the totality of your argument.   3. @Steven Smith The entire Jan 6th debacle came as a result of the frustrations the people felt against Hillary and her fake dossier, the media's attempt to lie and obfuscate about the collusion claims, the distrust felt the resulted from the lies of this fake investigation and how they wanted to block required IDs for voting. If they lied about Trump and Russia, why wouldn't they lie about the elections? It was the Democrats that fostered the atmosphere of distrust and anger and then they used that anger to further indict average Americans. Now.....BACK to the topic on hand. If you want your Party to have credibility you have to expect them to have ethical values of the highest standards. They not only let the American public down, they let YOU down, a person that had trust in their honesty. That should upset you. Instead, you respond like an belligerent child. "Well, Donnie did it, too!!!" No wonder politics stinks so badly.

  5. CRT is another tactic to pit Americans against each other. Jim Crow didn't work so they've come up with another way to divide us. Why wouldn't people be resentful, especially the Americans of African heritage, of those who have "white privilege". Any normal person would feel animus towards those, that they've been told, who have the privilege and power to keep them down. "It's not YOUR fault....it's them. Those white devils" Then white Americans become indignant and resent being told how terrible they are.....and those with race obsessions just keep picking at that wound until it festers and destroys everything. It's always been the tactic of the resentful. There's a reason why "Thou shalt not covet" is one of the Ten Commandments. The envy, that goes with coveting the lives of others, is one of the most destructive forces in human society and history demonstrates this to be true, over and over again. That's why this insidious ideology has to end.

  7.  @blackstreetztv1763  I don't see how that's possible. My investment portfolio hasn't grown, as it has over the last 2 years, in a long time. That doesn't happen when the economy isn't growing. That's a fact. When the last recession hit, 10 years ago, I took a bath, along with a lot of other people. That's what happens during a recession. When the economy is growing, investments are healthy. I don't know how long it will last but it's been really good for the last 2 years. However, I'm afraid that impeachment might just hurt the economy and if it doesn't work but the Democrats win the election next year, I'm really pessimistic about the economy. When you have money on the line, you look at things differently than you do when its an ideological viewpoint. Ideology doesn't put food on the table. Hard work and a creative economy does that.

  8.  @blackstreetztv1763  I'm doing fine because the economy is doing fine. This is just ordinary investing and everyone I know is happy how their portfolios are growing. It means that companies are expanding, increasing productivity and enjoying profits. That translates to jobs and better times for the average Joe and I'm one of those guys. I'm far from rich but things are good, better they've been in years because of a very healthy economy. You've basically said nothing in either one of your comments. First you made a claim of a bad economy and then, when confronted, you call that person "selfish". That's quite the astute economic assessment that you have there. You can't even understand the implications of what I've been saying. Worse, when unemployment figures are released at a 50 year low, you just stubbornly respond with a "No, it ain't" under the belief that you can talk it true.

  13. The feds should refuse to print the money so congress can't spend it. Even if congress doesn't spend it, that extra money devalues the entire money supply that adds to inflation. The more you have, the less it's worth.

They're leaving New York and California because the taxes are so high. Even ordinary people have had it with the taxes and regulations. Both are the homeless capitals of the US. These states have been the showcase for the saying "the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer." Now it's catching up to them and the middle class has shrunk immensely and those states have no choice but to tax the rich....and the rich don't like it. They don't like it and they're leaving. That's when the good times will be over.

Why is it that the big cities, where people are living so much closer together and we see huge crowds, have so many more cases than rural areas. Could it be because contact spreads the virus or is it just plain magic? I like magic. That David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear so magic is a viable answer to how it's spreading. Don't let your desire and need to work interfere with common sense.

  17.  @Radarcb329  He never mentioned any solutions. What he said is that the current strategies that are being put in place, haven't and can't work and that we need a new approach. Get that...."a new approach". That could include advanced micro-nuclear reactors among other things. He's implying that we need ways that develop organically, through the market system. The very same way that cell phones, computers, the car and other new technologies became common place. The people wanted it and when it became economically feasible, the people bought into of themselves. However, it will mean creating an investment climate that would encourage the research and the development of these types of new cleaner techs. Instead of an incessant tirade of "do nots" we should concentrate on inspiring people to "do".....which may well include your suggestion of advanced micro-nuclear reactors.

Strange how you have no problem with one of them not paying taxes until forced to....with penalties, but the other one is evil for doing the same thing and who paid penalties for what he did. I'd say that they're both crooked as hell but I could be wrong. I mean, one is GOOD tax fraud and the other is BAD tax fraud. I can't tell the difference but I'm not political either. I'd need to be to be able to know when tax evasion is acceptable behaviour.

  19. Canada has a merit based immigration system and has for years. It hasn't lowered immigration rates. In fact, we have a problem with the least educated not wanting to work. They'd love a job but a job where they can watch their phones all day and not be required to sweat. We don't need more of those kind of citizens. We need people that have educated themselves and shown a propensity to work hard and do their best.

Trump had everything running great until Covid hit and we can thank China for that. Things were getting better, economically, after a few months but it really went to hell when Biden took over. Yet, not one government, municipal or state, did anything to mitigate damages when it did come. It's time for a new approach that will address the inevitable that will make it easier to limit the damages when it does come.

He got paid for all those years. Got to travel on the taxpayer's dime but when things got tough, he bailed. Worse, he lied about it. He lied about his rank and about taking part in actual combat. That's a slap in the face to all those who did have to fight, who lost their lives, their health, both mental and physical....those who are still suffering trauma because of those combat experiences. Trump was eligible for the draft but he, upon the required medical exams, found to have bone spurs in his heels and he got a deferment from service. Was it a legit diagnosis, neither of us knows but one could get a deferment quite easily. I knew a guy who was deferred because he had different coloured eyes. However, we just don't know about Trump. What we do know about Walz is that he LIED about combat. Intentionally, with the intent of using that lie to further his political career.

He can't sit around and watch television all day. Did you not hear? He's on his way to Texas for the opening of a brand new Apple facility. More good news for the American worker. "I want NOTHING" isn't proof of wanting something. You're not making sense.

  30.  @poker4400  Funny how a wall or barrier was something that the Democrats bragged about in 2015 and is racist and useless in 2017. You have a point about large employers. They should be fined, heavily. However, that isn't the only way an illegal immigrant can make a living. The wall, not only provides a definitive barrier, it will also provide a road and a way to string security cameras to monitor the wall. Border agents would be able to get to trouble spots quickly and efficiently when movement is detected. When you have tens of thousands making the attempt every month, a tall steel wall is a definite deterrent, along with high tech cameras and a good road adding to the deterrence factor. Then apply the law within the country and maybe you'll get a handle on all the illegal entries.

  31.  @me_and_me_  Trump had the wisdom to consult with border agents to see what the best option would be. They told him that the steel wall was a better fit for this project and when they showed him why, he agreed. You see, he's adaptable. Smart people aren't rigid people. The reason that the revised wall hasn't been built yet is due to Democrat blocking the funding. He's getting it done anyway but it's taking longer.

  33.    When I heard her call voters "deplorables", I knew that she was going to lose. I wasn't even a Trump supporter and people knew that. I'm a bartender (a real one, not like AOC) and I told patrons that Trump was going to win and why and most of them laughed at me. Trump has grown on me and I'm still not fussy on his demeanor at times but he doesn't display the arrogance that I see from Hillary and a lot of her supporters. One patron agreed with her about the "deplorables" slur. He's always been an arrogant SOB himself. It doesn't speak well of their party and it explains their refusal to accept that they lost on their own merits. Arrogance begets stubbornness and it would appear that they're making the same mistakes in this upcoming election.

There's a lot of suspicious stuff on that hard drive and it all ties up with the suspicious bank transactions that were reported to the proper authorities. Bank transactions that go back BEFORE Trump was even president. Hunter Biden flew on Air Force 2, to China and a lot of his business deals appear to be related to China. It's strange that you completely ignore those transactions but go ahead. Dwell on the past. Are you seriously suggesting that Trump covered up the laptop story? He would still be president had he revealed that story. Instead, there are hearings right now that suggest that the FBI told Twitter and other platforms to bury the laptop story and to not allow the NY Post article to be shared on those platforms. 3 journalists, 2 of whom voted for Biden, all say they found this in the Twitter documents. Why would Trump sabotage his own election? You make no sense.

  37.  @4NickAder  The gun charge that Hunter Biden pled guilty to. He applied for a gun permit and then lied on the form that asked whether he was a drug user. He was kicked out of the military for using cocaine. It was also revealed, on the laptop, that he forgot to pick up from a computer shop that his girlfriend disposed of the gun in a dumpster across the road from a high school, another indictable offence. It's one of the reasons he's in court. This is all common knowledge. A quick and simple google search would keep you informed.....if it's your goal to stay informed and I highly doubt that it is.

  40.  @agresseur7184  Where did I say "political differences"? I never said that. I said he should be impeached for incompetence. I don't think that this would be that difficult to prove. When Trump was president, the Democrats insisted that Trump was incompetent and that he should undergo a cognitive test. Had he failed, that would have been grounds for impeachment and rightly so. So Trump took the test and he passed with flying colours. Yet, we haven't seen a cognitive test for Biden, who shows every sign of dementia due to old age. Is it because the Democrats don't want to see a test that would prove that he's not competent to do the most important job on the planet? If Biden was a manager at MacDonald's they'd have dismissed him a long time ago because he's just not able to do the job any longer and it wouldn't be for political reasons. I would think that we'd ALL want the president of the most powerful country in the world, to be able to pass a cognitive test, to prove his competence.
