  1. Dr. Carol Swain is NOT the poster child for the progressive left. They hate the "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" narrative that Dr. Swain represents. It goes against the victim narrative, that they love, which says that racism will always keep you down. The very existence of Dr. Swain destroys the portrayal that they want so much to be true.
